Unboxing and how to use
The videos are grouped under two topics: one shows what comes out of the box, the other how the device is applied. Neither plays automatically and nothing is downloaded until you press play; if you want sound, you need to turn the volume up yourself.
Unboxing
Active3 unboxing: what’s in the set?
The set itself: the parts that come out of the carry case, their sizes and the accessories. The answer to “what exactly will I receive?” before you order.
- Duration
- 1:00
- Resolution
- 720p
The set arrives in a single box, and you do not need to buy anything else to use it. The video shows the parts one by one as the box is opened; seeing the sizes with your own eyes is usually more informative than reading the written list of contents first.
Orders are shipped in a neutral box that gives no indication of its contents. The hard carry case seen in the video is the set’s permanent storage case; it does not bear the product name.
What to look out for while watching
- 01
The rechargeable pump head and its two buttons: one to build the vacuum and one to release the air.
- 02
The length and inner diameter of the clear cylinder (200 × 53 mm), the first measurement that determines whether the device will suit you.
- 03
Constriction rings in five different inner diameters (9–21 mm); the right size is found by trying, not by calculation.
- 04
The cone and two ring loaders: accessories that place the ring on the cylinder without damaging it.
- 05
Lubricant, charging cable, instructions for use and storage case.
How to use
How to use: applying the vacuum pump
The application itself: preparing the device, building the vacuum gradually and transferring the constriction ring. The moving-picture counterpart of the written steps.
- Duration
- 2:32
- Resolution
- 540p
The six written steps explain the logic of the application; this video shows what the sequence actually looks like. The two points people find most difficult in their first attempts become clear on screen: getting the cylinder to seal fully against the skin, and building the vacuum gradually rather than in one go.
The video does not replace the instructions for use supplied with the device. Read the instructions before you start, and have a urologist assess whether the device is suitable for your situation.
The 30-minute rule: The constriction ring must never be left on for longer than 30 minutes, for any reason. Remove the ring as soon as intercourse is over.
What to look out for while watching
- 01
Preparation: a thin layer of lubricant on the rim of the cylinder that touches the skin. Skipping this step is the number one cause of vacuum leaks.
- 02
Loading the ring onto the cylinder with the loader; the order is from the largest size to smaller ones, not the other way round.
- 03
Seating the cylinder all the way around against the groin: if the rim does not fully grip the skin, no pressure difference is created.
- 04
Building the vacuum gradually, with pauses in between; sudden, high pressure causes bruising and pain.
- 05
Transferring the ring to the base of the penis, then releasing the air and removing the cylinder.
